Kivido aka ShannyJ is a waacker, voguer, all round versatile dancer and can do any dance style she has trained in.
Current reigning champ for “Redbull Dance your style”, she is the national winner and will participate in the world finals in December 2022.
She has performed on stages such as the SAMAs , Saftas, Idols sa, castle lite unlocks and many more.
She has been a back-up dancer for Meek Mill (castle lite unlocks), Boity, Aka, Nadia Nakai , Cassper Nyovest , Kamo Mphela, Ammara Brown, Phantom Steeze ,Tom London just to name a few.
I choreographed the latest Xtreme energy commercial as well as Sha Sha ft Kamo Mphela’s official music video, “Ipiano”
She was invited at the Afia Festival in Sweden to give amapiano workshops.
She has competed and won multiple competitions such as Redbull dance your style, Afropunk, Vogue Nights , Le Grand Ball and Woza Jams in South Africa.
She has also competed overseas in Sweden where she placed 2nd and was announced best female dancer in Croatia and has also been to the US to compete in different international hip hop events.
ShannyJ is a freelancer but currently works under Lee-che Janecke and Bontle Modiselle.
